Our Professionals
Dr. Scott Calig grew up in the West San Fernando Valley. He attended college at Brown University, where he received his bachelor's degree in human biology (biology/psychology). He attended medical school at The Autonomous University of Guadalajara and did a fifth year at the University of Southern California, School of Medicine. His pediatric internship and residency were at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center.
After finishing his residency, he began practicing pediatrics in the West Valley. In addition to his private practice, he was on the clinical faculty of the Keck/USC School of Medicine, where he was a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and participated in the teaching of medical students, pediatric interns, and residents.
He and his wife have three children and six grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, the Dodgers, and bouncing his grandchildren on his knees.
