Ms. Armstrong received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Mount St. Mary’s College. After graduating she spent several years working at Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA specializing in pediatric acute care. She then went on to receive a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from UCLA with a specialty in pediatrics. She graduated cum laude from Mt. St. Mary’s and was a member of the UCLA honor society while obtaining her master’s degree. She is certified by the National Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and is licensed as a Nurse Practitioner by the State of California.
Ms. Armstrong focuses on providing care using an individualized approach combined with the best of conventional medicine in order to provide quality healthcare to children of all ages. As a strong advocate for breastfeeding and newborn nutrition, Ms. Armstrong provides lactation, development and parenting education. In order to better advocate for children’s health, she currently serves on the board of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners LA Chapter. Ms. Armstrong has been a Conejo Valley resident since childhood. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
